Genovese & Sons is a third generation family owned company.

The family came to Australia from Italy in 1950 in Sydney. Alfio Genovese was a major importer and distributor of Italian foods.

Alfio established the Melbourne branch in the late 1960’s after he decided there needed to be a true Italian style coffee in the Australian market.

In 1970 A.Genovese & Sons was established.

Genovese & Sons are committed to making changes that have a positive impact on the environment.

A new single wall paper takeaway cup is now available. By making the switch from double wall cups there is less energy and paper been used. This equates to a 29% reduction in carton size, a 44% reduction in paper weight, a 55% reduction in paper board plus a 20% reduction in carbon footprint.
